Built on a 20x30 lot. I placed it in Sunset Valley, next to the beach.
Requires: Base, Ambitions, Generations.
I also used items from Late Night and High End Loft stuff, but if you don't have those, you can replace the furniture.

The Whiz family

I'm trying to build a Simbot, and the only family I had that had collected gems is the one I created on the first installation of my game. I had packed them with their house and forgot about them up until a few days ago.

I think they look cute, considering it's a family I made 2 years ago.

And their son, Chris. It was birthday time, and he turned out pretty cute.

His IF is still like this, I guess because he was a child when I added them.

I wanted to take more photos but got distracted in finding Chris a girlfriend, and looking for some palladium for the Simbot.

I ended up creating a new girl since the one he found dumped him.. Crazy..

But I still haven't found the palladium. Does any one of you know where I can find some in Twinbrook? I have drilled the whole lot and still nothing.. Also, the main square.. Help..

The Nurdy-McKeon family

I've been having some issues with my game, but I think it's fixed now. (I deleted some left over items from various worlds).

I think a little update is in order.
 I think Hollie is one of my best looking teens in game, so I took some pics of her.

And then it was time for her birthday. :)

Look how exited her mom and sisters look.And since Salvatore's LTW is to raise 5 children from babies to teenagers, we have another on the way.

She looks kinda happy.

I really don't know why the random clothes are so.. random! What she has on is simply disastrous.

And after her make over. I really couldn't stand looking at her dressed like what she was when she aged up.

New creations.

I am having a hard time finishing my script, so I thought of creating my characters in game, so see what they might be up to. So far I have my main character. I used a different name for her, since the one on the script is temporary and I don't think it suits her.

I have only one shot of her and I am not at all happy with the clothes I had her wear. But I really have no clue what kind of clothes I want her to wear, so her outfit is temporary too.

But enough blah blah, here is Keaira.

A little more, I am creating a small house for her. I don't know when this will be done, since I want to build it in a small lot (10x10) and I really hope it's big enough.


PS. Does anybody know how I can get rid of the white border in the pics? I want to have a black one, but I saw no option to change that color. There is the option that it's right in front of me and I didn't see it. :P

The Nurdy-McKeon family

Yep, a new family. In a new home. :)

I created Alice (the mom) a while back, played with her when Late Night was released and made her a vampire. Story progression had her married with a random townie (blond hair and black roots, yikes!). So now that Generations was released I took her out of the bin, gave her a husband (Salvatore), had them have a child (Hollie) and moved them in Twinbrook.

The first thing I tried was to make them have a child. I don't know how I ended up with twins. Luckily for me, girls. I didn't take pics though, since I really don't like to play with children and I was rushing through the glow-worm-toddler days. So, when they were about to age up to teens, I thought 'what the hell, I'll take some pics'.

So enough blah blah blah..

Guys are not my strong point in game. He turned out pretty cute though.

Everyone was getting ready for Brunhilda to age up. They look pretty exited. (I'm sorry about the tree, the second floor is open to below and the pics are weird).

I haven't taken pics of their house yet. I am planning on it and if anybody wants it I will upload it. Here, not in the official. :)

I love you EA..

..just kidding! My game is ruined. The latest patch is crap.

I tried updating my game, but it kept popping out a message "Please re-install", but nobody knows what to re-install.. So I was determined to do the re-install dance. I uninstalled OLS (which I didn't want to buy in the first place.. now I understand why), then LN, and then it dawned on me that the OLS patch is crappy, why should I uninstall everything and not only OLS?

So I installed LN again, the game updated fine and I started it to see if it works. It did. But later I remembered I had removed all my CC (the Mods folder), so I tried putting this folder back and then boot the game. It loaded, I selected the save to play, it loaded, and when it finished loading and I was about to play.. CRASH! I got the 00x0031#56 whatever message. So we're back to square one on that.

I am really happy that I don't have Generations at this point. I would flip out if I couldn't play a brand new game, just because they suck c*** and they ruined many many games with that damn patch. I honestly hope that they will release a new update really soon, or I am going to send them a not-so-nice email. I can imagine that many people have already done that. But it's really frustrating! I have been playing Sims for 10 years and had no problem. How is it and TS3 is so glitchy and fucked up?

And of course, because I am on a Mac, I don't deserve to play this game. I think that's the way of thinking over there in California (or wherever EA is).. The funny thing is that I have Windows installed for other games, but I play Sims on OSX because 1. my main computer will not see Windows ever and 2. the game runs like it's going to crash on the Windows part.

I am really frustrated that I can't find the right layout for this blog. I keep making changes, but it still doesn't look right. I have an image of how I want it to look like in my head, but I can't make it look this way. :(

The Sanders family

I will officially start this tomorrow, but I got really exited! :)

A little trivia on them.
They live in Twinbrook, in the house that's near the military base. I want them to have a garden (since there is a space made for a garden there) but I still haven't found the time for it. Reason why?
Dayna, who is the mom, is a detective. She is a private eye and a sculptor in her free time. Her husband *will add name tomorrow* is an inventor. That means he's at home most of the time, making fun things. He also used to be a ghost hunter, he fulfilled his lifetime wish (to be at the top of the ghost hunting career) and that's why he's an inventor now. :)

They also have 4 children. And it's a lot of work! 3 of them are teenagers, but they still have homework, don't they? :)

Some more rambling...

I know it's annoying. Ok, CTU works fine on my MacBook Pro now. But I really want to have the 3d preview, so I'm going to try to make it work somehow. I'll try VirtualBox. I think it needs Windows to be installed. If I'm wrong, I will use that. :)

So I'm going to try that tomorrow. Right now, I'm going to bed.

Finally!

We will always remember this day as "The day I managed to finally make CTU to work on my MacBook Pro"! I've been trying for a while now and testing files. I'm so happy right now! Yay! *party*

Something more about this blog.

Since I am on the official some times, I see some weird things over there and I want to have a place to talk about. Because I don't want to create yet another blog dealing with the official and other things in the Simming world, I will just add some posts here.

I mainly visit the Mac section of the official (for obvious reasons). So the most posts concerning the official will be from this section. (Why do I keep putting a "g" in the end of "section"?) Anyway...


I just wanted to clarify this from the start, so you won't get confused. :)
