The Nurdy-McKeon family

Yep, a new family. In a new home. :)

I created Alice (the mom) a while back, played with her when Late Night was released and made her a vampire. Story progression had her married with a random townie (blond hair and black roots, yikes!). So now that Generations was released I took her out of the bin, gave her a husband (Salvatore), had them have a child (Hollie) and moved them in Twinbrook.

The first thing I tried was to make them have a child. I don't know how I ended up with twins. Luckily for me, girls. I didn't take pics though, since I really don't like to play with children and I was rushing through the glow-worm-toddler days. So, when they were about to age up to teens, I thought 'what the hell, I'll take some pics'.

So enough blah blah blah..

Guys are not my strong point in game. He turned out pretty cute though.

Everyone was getting ready for Brunhilda to age up. They look pretty exited. (I'm sorry about the tree, the second floor is open to below and the pics are weird).

I haven't taken pics of their house yet. I am planning on it and if anybody wants it I will upload it. Here, not in the official. :)

I love you EA..

..just kidding! My game is ruined. The latest patch is crap.

I tried updating my game, but it kept popping out a message "Please re-install", but nobody knows what to re-install.. So I was determined to do the re-install dance. I uninstalled OLS (which I didn't want to buy in the first place.. now I understand why), then LN, and then it dawned on me that the OLS patch is crappy, why should I uninstall everything and not only OLS?

So I installed LN again, the game updated fine and I started it to see if it works. It did. But later I remembered I had removed all my CC (the Mods folder), so I tried putting this folder back and then boot the game. It loaded, I selected the save to play, it loaded, and when it finished loading and I was about to play.. CRASH! I got the 00x0031#56 whatever message. So we're back to square one on that.

I am really happy that I don't have Generations at this point. I would flip out if I couldn't play a brand new game, just because they suck c*** and they ruined many many games with that damn patch. I honestly hope that they will release a new update really soon, or I am going to send them a not-so-nice email. I can imagine that many people have already done that. But it's really frustrating! I have been playing Sims for 10 years and had no problem. How is it and TS3 is so glitchy and fucked up?

And of course, because I am on a Mac, I don't deserve to play this game. I think that's the way of thinking over there in California (or wherever EA is).. The funny thing is that I have Windows installed for other games, but I play Sims on OSX because 1. my main computer will not see Windows ever and 2. the game runs like it's going to crash on the Windows part.

I am really frustrated that I can't find the right layout for this blog. I keep making changes, but it still doesn't look right. I have an image of how I want it to look like in my head, but I can't make it look this way. :(

The Sanders family

I will officially start this tomorrow, but I got really exited! :)

A little trivia on them.
They live in Twinbrook, in the house that's near the military base. I want them to have a garden (since there is a space made for a garden there) but I still haven't found the time for it. Reason why?
Dayna, who is the mom, is a detective. She is a private eye and a sculptor in her free time. Her husband *will add name tomorrow* is an inventor. That means he's at home most of the time, making fun things. He also used to be a ghost hunter, he fulfilled his lifetime wish (to be at the top of the ghost hunting career) and that's why he's an inventor now. :)

They also have 4 children. And it's a lot of work! 3 of them are teenagers, but they still have homework, don't they? :)
