Why I have been neglecting my poor game.

A month ago, Apple release the new OS, Mountain Lion (10.8). I thought of updating, but since a lot of people were having major problems with the previous update (Lion aka 10.7), I decided to wait and see. I have 2 Macs (you can hate me, but I need both), so I thought of updating my laptop first and then update my main computer (if needed kind of thing).

I installed the game on the new OS and it runs with no problems. I only played for like 10-15 minutes to test, I don't really play any game on the laptop. Since 2 new EPs will be coming out of the next few months, I had to do something to help my poor game. After installing Showtime it was crashing more often (if that is even possible!) and the lag had gotten to a point where I thought "Now it's going to crash!" And all that under Snow Leopard (10.6.8), which I love love love!

I still don't know if I will buy Supernatural. I will most definitely buy Seasons, the second I find it here! Maybe I will even buy a digital download so I can have it sooner. New games take a few days to come here (where am I? Narnia?) and if you are like me and have to have a certain game the moment it is released, you will understand the frustration. Just a note on that: TS2 Seasons was the only EP I actually preordered. The only..

Moving on, I just uninstalled Showtime and Pets from the computer to ease the lag. All the saved games seem to load fine (I only tested one, but still! :P). Hopefully I will be able to play without worrying that the game will crash or just quit only to find myself wondering what happened. Just poof and desktop! o.O

The only thing that worries me is the mods I have in the game. I think I have to have the latest release, since the game has the latest update. But is this correct or am I just confusing myself more?

The Sims 3 Katy Perry Sweet Treats.. Seriously?!

I think it's been a while since this *wonderful* SP was released. One thing I know for sure is that I won't be buying that! I don't get it.. who above the age of 15 would want to buy this?

I don't even dare to link an image here.. I'm sure everybody has seen them, others would die laughing, others would scream that they have to have these stuff. I am really trying not to judge anyone who has actually bought it, but it's becoming too hard as I look at the pics..

Oh! And don't forget to download the Katy Perry Sim! I am sure she was pulling her hair out when she saw this one. But who cares really.. it's all about the money.. who cares about the game, right? It's all "Money money money!"

...and that's why I am afraid to update my poor game (which, I dare say, has been sitting for months gathering dust) and install Master Suite Stuff (when and if I buy it)..

In other news, I am thinking of updating my OS, which means using OS X Lion. From all I know, there are a bunch of problems with Lion and Sims 3, so I might have to really think about this before updating. That won't be for another month though, so I will probably wait for Mountain Lion too and then investigate how many problems there will be with the new OS.

Almost a year!

I didn't realize that it's been that long! I still remember when I was thinking about uploading some Sims I had just made, a house I didn't finish, but was 90% done..

Hopefully, in about a month, I will be able to upload all these, and some more Sims I made. I don't even remember when! I'm a bad simmer!

The Whiz family

I'm trying to build a Simbot, and the only family I had that had collected gems is the one I created on the first installation of my game. I had packed them with their house and forgot about them up until a few days ago.

I think they look cute, considering it's a family I made 2 years ago.

I ended up creating a new girl since the one he found dumped him.. Crazy..

But I still haven't found the palladium. Does any one of you know where I can find some in Twinbrook? I have drilled the whole lot and still nothing.. Also, the main square.. Help..
